Hi Stardock Team,
I am just trying out your 30day trial Stardock fences application and am a bit surprised, that some very simple options are not available.
For example:
1. I do not want the fence / container to fold out when I move over it with my mouse. I only want it to open and close when I either double click or single click on a container (This should be an option if I want double click or single to open and close the container) Currently you give the option to double click to close but then automatically when you hover over the container it opens up again. (I only want it to open when I want it to open.) You also give the option leave the container open but as soon as I double click to close it you activate mouse hover again and it opens when my mouse is over the container.
I would have bought immediately if mouse over did not always keep opening the container.
2. Also I cannot have a list like in explorer of my desktop icons. They can be made smaller but I want a list rather like explorer one item under each other. I see that you can have a list in in portals but not anywhere else.
3. you should add a color picker to the container menu, so I can easily give the container a unique color of my choice.
4. What would really, really be great is also being able to drop a website into a container called my favourites. That way I could make containers of the day and things I have been doing on the web that I could look back later at and just launch the website with that browser used for that website.
I have only just started with fences today, so I will get back with any other suggestions I have later on.
First but most important for me is an Update for fences, as I need to not have the container open up when I hover over with the mouse, only on clicking.
Best regards
p.s. I found this application as a suggestion from ChatGPT. Here was my question:
in windows 10 desktop is there a tool that will allow me to have a list instead of icons?
