I just read Brad's 10 year blog. Wow...talk about memories. I jumped on to Windowblinds as soon as I saw it. I would get so frustrated with trying to keep it running with Win95/98. I was always checking the newsgroups to see what fix was next. I saw value in it early on and I'm glad I stuck with it. It's an awesome product. I remember trying to decide whether or not to just get WB or the entire ODNT package. I splurged for ODNT. Then I had to explain it to my wife. She didn't get it then. She does now.
I was so jazzed about DesktopX. I remember using the coolest DX skin...I think it was made by Treetog and it was called something like "2000 professional" I was having problems getting it to display right and Treetog was emailing me suggestions about how to fix it. I thought it was so cool that this person I had never met, from another country, had the same excitement I had for making my computer screen look cool. It was obvious to me then that I wanted to be part of the community.
Keep up the good work fellas...I'm not artist but I'll do what I can to support the effort. It's an honor to know that my $$ went to something I've enjoyed for years. Something that keeps getting better. Something I feel part of.
