OK, here's the problem - the one with the currency I mean (though I encountered new problems too, which I will document here).
I use a VPN. I use it with UK servers. However, the VPN is based in Sweden and this is what your software somehow detected. (I saw a mention of the country code 'SE' on your webpage - and the Swedish currency is the kroner.) I think the underlying problem is the company FastSpring, which you use for payments. I know from experience what others know: that company is bad.
Having bought the upgrade - with my VPN disabled - I clicked a link that your site (or FastSpring's) provided to download an installer. It opened a blank tab (in the browser that I was using at the time, which is Firefox Extended Support Release). A link in an email - an email I received as well - worked. Did I mention that FastSpring is bad?
Oh, and after installation the installer told me I would need to reboot. It offered me the option to reboot immediately. I declined. It then . . asked me to activate the software and I seem now to be running Fences 4 having declined the allegedly necessary reboot. Except, ah, some ten minutes later a window pops up the gist of which is that Fences will not work properly without a reboot or without running something from the Task Scheduler. Obviously, all this could be done more clearly.
I note also that it is harder to find this list of new features than it should be. There seem to be only two new features. I see no detailed changelog. Weirdly, the page that I just linked is by Stardock and yet talks about Stardock in the third person.
I am not interested in replies about any of this. Rather, please just fix all your stuff.
EDIT: also, greyed-items are, when using dark mode, too greyed-out: screenshot.
