How to send Apps to Start11?

Hallo,
I have a lot of Icons on my desktop. When I send them to Start, they only appear in the Windows menu.
I would like to have the Windows 10 Menu.
But the icons can neither be dragged into the start11 menu nor sent in any way.
Therefor my start11 menu is absolutly empty at the moment.
I can create groups, but I cannot sent any icon in this groups.
Please help.

If you are right clicking on them then click show more options at the bottom of the menu and you should see a pin to Start11 option.

You can also add them by dragging from the all apps list with the Win10 menu (or right clicking on those and picking the pin option), and from next week you will be able to right click on the groups on the menu and select an option to pick a file to pin.
