I feel like my question is very similar to this one, but the posted answer does not address my question.  In particular, I am not interested in corporate/volume pricing.  I posted a reply, but did not get a response - perhaps due to the age of the original post - so I am posting as a new topic, with a slightly different direction, based on other things I have read in the meantime.

According to the EULA, "An Individual User may: Install, use and activate one (1) copy of the Software on one (1) unique personal computer that is owned by you for your personal use." and "Install the Software on another computer if the installation will not exceed the individual user activation limits set forth above."  Based on other discussion found in the forums, I get the impression that this is (or perhaps was, from some different wording in the past) understood to mean that individual users of Fences could buy a single copy for use on their home/personal computer, and also use it on their work laptop.  Is this a correct understanding of the EULA, for using Fences?

If not, then how do I properly get and activate a copy of Fences for use on my work laptop?  Since it is not a personal computer, owned by me, does this mean I would need to purchase it separately as an individual user for my home computer and again as a "business entity" for my work laptop?  As the end-user on my work laptop, would I actually need to have my company buy it for me, as the "business entity", for my use?

As I mentioned in my previous post/comment, I expect my company would buy it for me, but I am trying to avoid the activation problem I ran into with Fences 2, where I needed to have the account password, which was known by the purchaser, but not by me (i.e. the one doing the install).  I would be happy to pay for it, myself, to avoid that issue, but if I can just buy one copy for use at home and at work, that would be even better.  So - how does the EULA apply to my situation?
