On reflection, I realize I've come on way too strong here. The whole issue has touched a nerve, particularly in light of the incredible damage done to the Canadian beef industry and the whole BSE thing.

Chickens and cows are part of the food chain.
And tasty to boot.

Better yet, tell a Killer Whale its not nice to toss that half alive seal around for 20min.

Did you see finding Nemo?  That statement reminded me of the reformed sharks who had their meetings about "fish are our friends not our food".  It was pretty funny.
