A little trip into the Registry...

I didn't know so many neat things were in there as far as setting go! I'm in there mostly to get rid of that zeropopup bar, but I found that I can have EI say something like:

Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by joetheblow



hkey_current_user
software
microsoft
Internet Explorer
Main

that's it. Its right there once you select the main folder. its called window title.

Along with this there is also Home page, notify download complete, default search page and other stuff...

But what sucks is that these settings SHOULD be in the IE options. They hide them in the registry. Why? No one knows.

Becuz microsoft (yep, with the little "m") is our friend.

themorphium starts to sound like a zombie.. he has never ever seen mac or linux whatever

Just be careful what you mess around with in the regestry...

If you want to be 'safe' making changes in the registry, before you make changes right click on key and export to temp folder. If the changes don't work simply double click saved .reg file and it will revert changed key back to original key.......
