I only have 3 modes I work with:

1. My Laptop with no external monitor
2. My Laptop with a portable external monitor
3. My Laptop at home, which uses 2 external monitors, but not the laptop monitor (the laptop is usually closed and docked)

I've tried every combination of the Layout and Snapping options, but there is none in which the different settings per setup are preserved.

e.g. I want a set of fences on both the left and right monitors when I am working at home (with 2 external monitors); when I take the laptop with me, I have a different (smaller) set of fences I use when I only have the laptop screen.

When I switch between these modes, I don't know why fences cannot recognized the changed monitor setup and restore the fences for that particular setup.

I would think that the "Store my Fences' positions on a per-screen-resolution basis" option would restore the correct snapshot or layout, but it diesnt seem to work that way.
