It run on my Ryzen 2600 without issue. Where did you get that idea? Maybe, you mean ARM based CPU?

In this case Intel includes compatible which would include AMD.  Though as it is 64 bit you could argue the instruction set is AMDs so it should be AMD compatible

Basically 'normal' pcs with AMD or Intel processors that are 64 bit are supported.  ARM cpus are not.

Would it be possible to to enable just the Curtains start button but not the whole taskbar? There's checkboxes for "Apply style to the start button" and "Apply style to the taskbar" but the start button one won't work without the taskbar one.

Not other than that I like the stock taskbar, but also prefer the Curtains start button customizations. I like when I can have similar fluent theme for the systemUi stuff, like taskbar, start menu, action center, jump lists, and so on.

Also the way the options are laid out implies (to me at least) that this would be possible as both have their independent checkboxes, and not nested checkboxes like for example "Apply styles to Chromium browsers" and its children. E.g. it's clear that I can't enable "Chromium web apps show back button" without first enabling the Chromium browser styles. But taskbar and start button styles look like they could be enabled/disabled independently.

Hey, I've been playing with Curtains for a few weeks but only just noticed these feedback threads. I think you've made some awesome software here but it's too easy to break the themes!

Please tell me if I'm being oblivious but I did look around and can't see this feature ... it would be really good to have a way of reverting themes back to their original config.

On more than one occasion I've been editing a theme and messed up. So I click one of those 'Reset to default' buttons thinking it might undo the change I just made. Obviously that's not what those reset buttons are for, so it messes it up even more!

Fortunately I've been using it in a VM so I can revert to a checkpoint and start over. After breaking a few themes, the first thing I do after installing Curtains is take a copy of the C:\users\public\documents\stardock\curtains folder so I can replace all those files when I mess up. But I think that shouldn't be something the end user has to do themself.

Maybe it could force us to make a copy of themes for editing, and only allow editing the copy. Or a revert button in the right click menu on the main page, or even a confirmation instead of applying every change immediately.

Again, sorry if this is already possible.

Interestingly, Curtains were not part of the Object Desktop package installer when I was installing the OD apps. It took two days for it to show up for me. I didn't know it exists! After trying Curtains, it does not cause any of the issues with Firefox and works much better than Windows Blinds in general.

The Curtains app does, however, have several small bugs. For example, it turns off auto-refreshing in Explorer much of the time.

What I mean by this is that the desktop or folders do not automatically update, and you have to hit F5 to see files to folders that are new to the desktop or Explorer.

Here's an image of the Chrome tab in the taskbar with the Drive link. The tab in the taskbar does not update and freezes on a browser tab. In this case, it's locking on the time-tracking app https://www.toggl.com/ that runs a timer in the browser tab. So it may be only for tabs with text that changes. Regardless, Curtains should not freeze the taskbar like this.

Yeah I agree, I didn't realize at first that it was possible to mess up the default themes and had to work hard to revert my changes after the initial "press every button and change every value to see what it does"-phase.

Beta 5 has now been released - see thread for that elsewhere.

One change which was raised in this thread is it now asks you if you want to edit a copy of the style rather than the style itself.  If you say no then it will not ask again for that style.  This should help with those who want to play without breaking things.
