I can group different windows. My main interest is grouping Windows Explorer windows, looks promising!
I can also click "Save group" and a pop-up window lets me enter a name for the group.
The first time I do this, the "Saved Groups" folder is created.
If I click "View my saved groups" in the settings, this folder is opened:
C:\Users\Håkan\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Saved Groups
However, there is no group saved in this folder.
By adding a normal program shortcut to the folder, the "Saved groups" option does appears in the ...-menu.
When I click the sub menu "Manage saved groups", I get this error message
This led me to suspect that my name in the path is a problem.
I created a new Windows user called Hakan, and now the saving of groups worked.
However, my name is Håkan, and I want to name my Windows account accordingly!
Now, I recalled another problem I had, with another program, on another computer!
I run a newly installed English version of Windows 10, but using the Swedish region settings.
To make this other program work on the other computer, I had to change the Region (in the Control Panel)
from "English (Sweden)" (which was the default, even though I specified Sweden as region during setup)
to "Swedish (Sweden)".

And, to my delight, changing this setting made saving groups in Groupy work. Yay!
Well, this may be the proper set up for language and region, but I still think there is something fishy in the Groupy application!
Groupy did manage to create the "Saved Groups" folder in the Start menu!
But then it does not manage to add any content to the folder...
Could it be that the %AppData% shortcut is used in some code, such as creating the "Saved Groups" folder and opening that folder from the "View my saved groups" button?
And when saving the group, some other method of assembling the path is used, generating a path failure?
In any case, the save group operation that obviusly fails (since there are no groups created in the "Saved Groups" folder) should, instead of saying nothing, generate the same type of error message as the "Manage saved groups" pictured above.
I hope these findings can be helpful to other users and the development team!
I think I will buy this program now...
