I started with a trial. after 3 days the trial said it was expired. so i purchased a license. now the program does not run any backgrounds and the online tab while showing there are thousands of backgrounds informs me that there are none available. attempted to submit a ticket but the response was support for this product is only done on forums so here i am.

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Reboot after the purge, reinstall using the version you just download. Reboot again. Retest and report back here.

purged and reinstalled as per the instructions. i have the same exact problem. a 30 day trial that expired in 3 days. a license key that turns the program into a pretty little box on my screen that does nothing aside from telling me that there are tons of backgrounds available but im not allowed to see or use them. basically from my position the only way to use this software is to run the trial every 3 days and never pay for it because paying for it breaks the entire thing.
The online tab being blank is a server side issue. It will get sorted later today when the right people are in.
This is not related to you purchasing the software, it is purely very unfortunate timing.
