Groupy is one of my favorite Stardock apps. It's probably most useful to those who tend to have a lot of app windows open and are very particular about keeping them organized. One of the most obvious examples is Groupy can automatically group multiple File Explorer instances into a single multi-tab window (a very welcome feature since Microsoft has apparently dropped Sets for the foreseeable future).
Another example: I like grouping audio apps like Sonos, Spotify, Audible and Pandora. It's nice not having to fumble around the desktop or alt-tab through a bunch of windows when switching between audio sources.
I'm almost afraid to ask, but how did you manage to get "conned" into buying Groupy?
