Can't move windows all the way to top of screen with some themes

I'm using WindowBlinds 10.74 with Windows 10.  I've noticed that with some themes, I can't move windows all the way to the top of the screen.  The highest they can go is maybe 10 pixels or so down from the top of the screen.  I suppose this isn't a big issue but it's a little annoying, since I'm used to being able to have windows all the way at the top of my screen.  If I maximize the window, it's fine, but I don't run all my apps maximized.  I'm not sure if there's a way to fix this?

This isn't an exhaustive list (as I imagine there may be more themes that have this issue), but I've seen it with these themes:

  • Corporate (by danioc)
  • Acrylic 7 (by danilloOc)
  • Echo (by danioc)
  • Eva (by danioc)
  • Modern (by danioc and Stardock)
  • Office (by danilloOc, Winstep Software Technologies & Ross Fa)
  • Plastic Blue (by nardoxic)
  • The Captain (by danioc)
  • Win8 (by Stardock)
  • Win8 Metro (by Stardock)
  • Windows Zero (by adni18)
  • Diamond (by Stardock Design) - Not as bad as the others - There's a smaller gap at the top of the screen

Ice is another one. Happens to me too, seems like it's the one's that comes with WB.

Hello,

I have look at some of the theme listed. I am afraid we can't do anything much, as it is that way by design. The theme author have put a gap between the top of the visible topframe and the actual top. Reason for putting there is depend on design. Usually for back shadows for the windows frame.

Here s/shots of some top frame taken from actual theme.

1) Diamond : 2 pixels gap.

2) Corporate and Ice : has special Shadow frame added.

So when you push the topframe to the edge of your screen. That extra pixel will always be there but you can't really see it.

BTW, you can always disable the per pixel frame if it bothering you too much. But you will also lost transparency and shadows on windows frame.
