Why do they put all that information on a screen that only lasts a second?

GM...go to Control Panel/ System/ Advanced/ click 'settings, under Startup and Recovery. Un-check 'Automatically Restart'. All others should be checked. Whenever your machine faults it will stop on the Blue Screen and log it to file

BTW... to your re-booting problem my guess is that it's a fault with your graphics driver..probably nv4_disp.dll. Sometimes you get a conflict if you're using DesktopX or Object Bar, but most of the time just updating your graphics drivers does the trick. Thanks everyone! I have had WB4 since the alpha without problems. There are some things that I suspect...


I tried PSP 8 beta and it really messed up Stardock products for some reason. I finally just took it off. Recently, I reinstalled PSP 7.4 from disc, but it doesn't work right. There is another graphic program that has a slight problem (longstanding... It won't uninstall). I know I probably need a reformat now, I just am not ready to do it yet.


The other day I installed the updated (02/03) Pixia program.


The other day I did a windows critical update.


Could be any one of these. I will look into the driver updates. This is a gateway computer and I did use their scan and try to install something just now and I had to go back to my last good configuration. So I think I will spend some time backing up stuff, then try again.
