I learned today that Classic Shell will not be supported anymore, so I have been searching for a replacement. I have installed a trial version of Start 10 and have been able to replicate almost entirely my Classic Shell setup.
One valuable feature (to me) appears to me missing, or at least I can't find it if it is already there. I have a number of shortcuts in the left-hand column and, when I hover the mouse on one of the shortcuts, the submenu appears.
Classic Shell goes a stage further. If I now hover on a folder in the submenu, another submenu appears. Again, if I hover on a folder in this second submenu, another submenu opens, and so on and so on.
This is a very practical facility and saves opening multiple file explorer pages in order to "dig down" to the folder I want to open.
I searched the forum and there was what appears to me to be a request for this facility several years ago.
So, does this multiple submenu facility exist in Start10 and I am missing it, or it this facility in the pipeline?
Thank you.
