Folder Portal Filtering

Can I filter the contents dispalyed in a folder portal?

Win 10 w/Fall Creators' Update, Fences 3.0.5.12.

Is there any way to filter the display of a folder portal? For example, I might want to exclude certain file types from displaying. Sorting and Organizing rules don't apply to a portal.
