Suffice to say, if anyone uses my work in the same way, I will chase them down, and if necessary, I will sue them for breach of copyright. I have the financial resources to do so, and I would not lose the suit.
The operative words here are "my works", mine, they belong to me, I created them, I will decide what happens to them, where they are posted, and what they are used for. Simple!. The methods we use to protect our work are irrelevant in this case, about as irrelevant as you "murder" analogy. You constantly contradict yourself in all your posts, so, if you don't know what you mean, how can you possibly expect the rest of us to respect your contradictory opinions? Sheesh!

If a friend of mine got her artwork posted on someone else's site and she didn't care much for it. If others jumped in there trying to defend her work, wouldn't they look pretty stupid? I've been saying, let the author take her stand first before everyone else jump in. If the author decide to "flame" him, her friends can feel free to do the same. If she doesn't want to bother with it, then that's her business.

How many times does it take Youji? Nobody did any 'flaming'. That's just another misleading term like 'rip' anyway. 'Flaming' is generally taken to mean throwing personal insults at someone on a public message board without just cause. No such insults were made.

The only messages posted on that site were valid claims of theft, and requests to remove the offending item. Obviously some people were a little better in their wording than others, but nobody resorted to the kind of childishness that would constitute 'flaming'. The only person who claims such tactics were used is the person who posted the offending wallpaper, and then subsequently went on to DeviantArt to try and save face by attacking Jafo's character.

I suggest you stop talking about this now, as you clearly have no grasp of the facts and are unwilling to listen to those who were there to see the events unfold. You obviously have some warped picture in your mind of how the whole thing went and are unwilling to have that picture corrected by anyone.

Sorry if I kept using the word flame. I did go back and re-read what Jafo had posted. Yeah, sorry there was no flaming involved. Sorry for accusing so much.

I still stand by letting the original author warning the offender first though and one or two other things, but those aren't important.

I have another class at 1:30. I'm going to leave now and I'll probably be gone for a while. I have lots of finals and I need to start studying for them.
