Well, the apology is a start just remember ppl here as a rule are friendly so tend to not take rudeness well is all.
Anyway some steps to understand skins a bit more
1) get a proggy like Skinstudio and read its help files
2) visit a few of the skin sites and read their faq's, also think Stardock has one as well.
3) DL a skin similar to what you want to do. Open it in Skin Studio and look about to see how the stuff was put together
4) Relax, ppl here will be more than willing to help if you don't stress and snarl here hehe
5) read read and read some more. Im just beginning to understand the stuff myself hehe.
