I'm using 2.0 on Windows 7. It is not supported on Windows 10, although some people have said that it works for them if I remember correctly.
If you open the Non-Tabbed, Tabbed, etc. folders, you can pick an example and see the image file to give you an idea of which of the folders is right for your extracted files. Tiles are a one-icon only dock; if you have several shortcuts and use tiles, each shortcut has it's own tile.
I see no reason to worry about getting the new version to work for you. Perhaps a visit to Support might be useful at some point. Somebody else who knows a bit more will probably make a comment here.
