Ok, now I can't be 100% sure because I ended up logging out and then back into windows to make my icons return but I just figured out the whole double click on the desktop to make the icons disappear and then re-appear trick. So..... might not but a bug. I did, however, have an instance where the top bar on all my windows that allows you to move them, minimize, maximize, and close had vanished. But changing to a new theme in WindowBlinds made them reappear. Ugh, new toys!
