Fixing the taskbar icon problem

Hello,

there is still a Windows BUG. Windows 10 use 24x24 icons in the taskbar. The Problem is that Windows scales these Icons from 32x32 icons, although the 24x24 mainicon exist. Some icons looks terrible. Is it possible for Stardock to fix this problem by Start10?

Which apps have a suitable 24x24 icon?

That's not a standard icon size.

Hi,

I don't think so. In the future all apps and programs should support new icon sizes.

The start menu supports 24x24, 32x32 and 40x40 (smal and medium tile). And the taskbar uses 16x16 and 24x24.

E.G. explorer.exe supports follow icon sizes: 16x16, 20x20, 24x24, 32x32, 40x40, 48x48, 64x64 and 256x256!

Total Commander supports 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 40x40 and 48x48 icons.

The bottom taskbar shows the native icon size (24x24). It would be nice if Start10 could fix this.

I use 7+ taskbar tweaker to bring back 32x32 icons in the task bar.
