Would you like to try ObjectMedia (new name of SDPlayer) instead? You can download it from Stardock Central. It will install a new version of DXPlayer too. DXPlayer wasn't the cause of your problem, but maybe SDPlayer was. Please try ObjectMedia and mail me (MadIce@Stardock.com) when you still have the problem. BTW: You can check the DesktopX version by opening SDC. Click the Software tab, then the Object Desktop tab. In the list you will find DesktopX and its version number.
