I own Fences 2.0 and am trying to upgrade to Fences 3.0. However, during the checkout process, after I attempt to complete the purchase in PayPal, I get the following error:
You did not meet the following criteria to purchase and have not been charged;
- You must have purchased the pre-requisite product before attempting to purchase Fences® 3 Upgrade. Please check the product page here for more information.
The link provided doesn't work and goes to a 404 error (note that I removed the link in this post for security reasons).
It doesn't matter if I click the link in the email offer, or if I go through the website from scratch.
Why is Stardock telling me I can upgrade to Fences 3.0 for half price, but not actually letting me complete the checkout process?
