I need some tips for Paint Shop Pro 7. Im new at it and most likely suck using it. lol

Hey. Can anyone give me some advice for using Paint Shop Pro 7.0? i just bought it and i really dont feel like doing a lot of in depth research about all the cool stuff i can do with it. So if anyone can give me some advice or good ideas to try that would be wonderful. Thanks.

I bought the 7.04 anniversary edition, still don't know how to use it really but I have lots of fun playing with it....

Oh a good book would be " Digital Charachter Design and Painting "
I picked it up the other day, they use Painter 7 in it, but everything should work fine in PSP and he is a fantastic guide... no ego involved and full of talent, step by step from cncept building, to sketching on paper to scanning, different steps in colorization to final product.

Iben I learned the 'hard' way...if you're going to purchase a product such as PSP it's WAY better to buy the 'physical' CD for the extra 10 bux...because even though it's instant 'grat' to buy and download the proggie...it doesn't give you diddly-squat for user help etc. compared to getting the extensive and well-written user manuals.

That's why...from now on I pretty much buy it in the 'box' so to speak and wait those extra few days.

Iben yep always did learn more playing and saying, Oh, thats what that does, I could do this or that with it, seems to stick better than by rought... I like this book because it gets into the deeper techniqes for when I am ready and need a reference mostly, thats why I liked the step by step part, because you see what each step in the process is a good possible choice to make. Like colorizing each thing and then working with brushes for fine tuning, texturing, masking, clean up and finalize
