I would like this behavior implemented, also. While the way Fences is designed may prohibit this behavior - and may even seem to make the program be less usable in a 'smart' way, in terms of whether a user changes monitor resolutions or actual monitors - I believe that if Stardock wanted to implement this behavior in some fashion, they could do it. I'm sure there's plenty of people who simply want to keep all the icons they have on screen in the same place all the time, and that is all.
You'd think that by now, Windows (10) would be able to do this one thing. Just lock icons into specific places on the Desktop, regardless of shut down/reboot/sw install actions. But every once in a while, all the icons seem to get shoved into the corner in some fashion. This is not just on my own desktops over the years, but a lot of them I have had to support while doing IT.
Unfortunately, of the software that seems similar to Fences out there, none of them seem to work very well at doing this one task, either.
