I'm not....finding it, that is. The icon sits there in my sys tray doing absolutely nothing. 3 weeks down the track [since release] and it's still 'evaluating' my machine.
Oh well, I wouldn't be installing 10 on this [my HP tablet/laptop] anyhow. In fact, I'm most reticent about installing it on anything.... though not just because of the fugly UI and icons. Stardock apps could fix those. No, my main objection is the open backdoor and phone-home crap MS installed.... its intention to target me with ads based on my personal files and perceived preferences. There's no way on Earth I'm inviting that crap into my life.
Yeah, I know, all you Win 10 users are going to tell me that you haven't gotten any MS and/or Partners spam..... YET!! Apparently the necessary infrastructure for that hasn't been put in place/enabled.... YET!!! But it WILL be! That's why Win 10 [the service] is free. Free my arse! It has more caveats than the Old Bailey Law Library.
And before anyone repeats: "but if you have nothing to hide".... I have the same [or similar] to every other bloke, but that don't mean I'm going to walk around naked. No, there are some things we want to keep to ourselves/private.... which in my case [nakedness] is probably just as well. The local hospital is not equipped to handle that many coronaries.... or hysterics.
