I got the following email this morning (see below).
The main reason I wanted object dock was for the "interactive folder-view tabbed docks" that were advertised when I downloaded the program to try it out. I later learned (or at least was told in a forum) that this feature was never implemented. Now I see an email saying it is a part of object dock. Given this, I uninstalled my current object dock assuming to see a version 2.3.0 including this feature but find that whenI go to download again it is still version 2.2.0.
What is the situation on this feature? Does it exist? Will it exist? Is it vaporware? It is basically the only reason I want this program.
