Poem time again...
Here I sit all broken hearted...tried to...no wait...that idn't it!
Over done and under...startin' again...*clearing her throat*
Titled,
A friend like you
No earthly treasure or temporary pleasure
Can ever be measured next to you,
I don’t doubt you because there’s something about you
That always rings honest and true.
I know some subjects I broach are not past reproach
But you always say the right thing,
You counter my fears and replace my tears
With the laughter and smiles that you bring.
Your healing words and your forgiving mind
Have restored my belief in mankind,
I don’t desire a deed or task. What more could I ask?
-When your friendship was all I needed to find.
Thank you so much for sharing and caring
And the love that outpours from your heart,
When I think of you as I often do
It’s a wonderful way for my day to start.
