The problem seems to be there are no folders with recognisable names corresponding to the fences I have set up.

I get a message do I want to replace a file in an unamed fence.But I have no idea which fence the file is in.

For security reasons and avoidance of  data loss I'd like to know where the contents of fences are stored. What happens to a fence's contents if you delete a fence. Does it just disappear?

I think I understand that the same problem does not exist with file portals as the data remains in the original location. So file portals can be deleted without their underlying contents disappearing.

Have just suffered a total computer crash so data secuity is very much on my mind. And I don't know how risky it is to rely on fences, and what sort of back up system should be used.

Off topic-  the captcha requires more intelligence than I possess at the moment, tried aboutg 10 times before giving up. It should be made intelligible to human beings with some simple instructions and alternatives
