My office configuration consists of a high-powered desktop with Fences installed and a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 "laptop" as my traveling machine, also with Fences. Both machines are entirely in sync through DropBox (the "desktop" and "My Documents" files have been redirected to the DropBox folder). So when I finish with the desktop and travel into a meeting with the laptop, it has an exact duplicate of the desktop files and is totally up to date.

One thing is missing: I would love to duplicate the fences configuration on the desktop to the laptop. Trying to do so through a snapshot is clumsy at best and certainly not automatic. Fences should provide the ability to maintain the most recent snapshot in a DropBox folder such that it can be shared with other devices. I'm sure this would be usable but it would take some work from the developer end.
