I think it would be a great addition to fences for the to be an option that would make desktop icons stick where they are planted in the fence, rather than slipping back to the upper-left corner until all previous spots are filled. This would allow for much cleaner arrangement of icons within fences and improve accessibility as well as general functionality and aesthetics.

It's very annoying that the icons slip back into spot I don't want them.

Really hope this simple feature can be implemented! If anyone knows a better place than this to write this suggestion, please let me know!
