Please can someone from Stardock let us know as these new ultra wide 21:9 aspect ratio monitors are becoming more poplar now with a resolution of 2560x1080.

Deskscapes 8 or lower do not appear to support beyond 1920x1080 resolution on Win 7 or 8 64 bit OSes.

I recently bought a 21:9 2560x1080 monitor but could not get Deskscapes 8 on Win 8.1 or Deskscapes 7 on Win 7 to go beyond 1920x1080 it just displays black pillowboxes either side of the screen on the dream.

Is this a limitation of the actual dream or DeskScapes as I also tried .avi .wmv & .dream files same result. I even tried changing some of the dreams so they were 2560x1080 format but it still only displays 1920x1080 with black borders either side. i know the OS can handle it if you use VLC media Player DirectX video Output & Show Media Title on video settings on a loop so wonder why Deskscapes does not appear to be showing beyond 2560x1080 resolution.

None of the scaling options within DeskScapes will make any difference either.

I bought versions 7 & 8 from Stardock neither work beyond this resolution am I missing something obvious ? (my video card has 3Gb VRam its an Nvidia GTX 780 Ti my PC is high end).
