Sorry, I must of had something funny happen when applying this theme.  I thought I had taken the gap out by editing out the transparent portion at the top of the image used for the maximized title bar.  For some reason the theme didn't apply correctly (not only was the gap still there even though I took it out of the image; but, I had some fonts that were so small they were unreadable).  When I restarted the computer, the theme was applied properly; and, the gap that I had removed in the title bar image is now gone.  So, all seems well, I hope.

What version of Windows are you on Jeff? I checked Diamond here on Windows 7 and it is fine, no gap. 

Is there any way to restore Diamond to its default settings after making changes?  I have been working on a copy of the Diamond theme; but, I am wondering if I might have made a few changes before making the copy that I am working from.

You said you're working on a copy of Diamond. If it a copy then you still have the original. Discard the copy and go back to the original.

Uvah, I am not sure that the original is without changes.  Most (perhaps all, but I can't verify that) of the changes have been made in the copy.  But, there might be a few changes in the original BEFORE making the copy and working with that copy.

Sorry, the original image?

Is there a way to extract the original theme from the downloaded file.  Let's say I download the new version 8.05.  Is there a way to get the original theme out of the download?  What if I delete the "Diamond" theme on my computer and install 8.05.  Would that put the pristine version of Diamond back on?

I don't think that will work Uvah, I believe Diamond was a WindowBlinds skin provided to subscribers in an update so it's not in the gallery.  If he thinks he may have made changes to it probably the only way to get the original back is to uninstall WindowBlinds, do cleanup and then reinstall WindowBlinds.  If I'm wrong someone will see this and correct me. 

That's the only way I know of too.  (To be clear, one way or or another the old Diamond skin directory needs to be moved or deleted before doing the re-install.)

Tip: I zip up the directories of the shipped wb's at the point of install and keep them as backups.  Accomplishes a couple of things - an original to fall back on if I tweak, and an archive for when Stardock drops them out of the installation packs which happens from time to time as they cycle.
