Hi
Maybe I am just missing it; but, I can't find a guide/manual for SkinStudio version 8. Is there such a thing? I find the program is very complicated and not very self-explanatory. And, I can't believe such a complex program wouldn't have a detailed manual.

Sadly there is no manual Jeff, you learn it by using it and by trial and error. SkinStudio itself needs a lot of work to be user friendly and intuitive, maybe in the future, who knows....

If you are trying to something specific and make a thread for answers, many people here can and will help you.
I would first suggest you look around SS and try some things as LightStar said. At that point when you get stuck ask away.
One master skinner has written a tutorial,have no idea does that can apply in SS 8 though,but it's really comprehensive and useful for newbies.
