Buttons to Office 365 program shortcuts to 64 bit programs do not start
Need just one Icon:
Drag an icon from the start menu to the tool bar for example Excel 2013 (64 bit version)
Right click the new icon then >> Settings >> Edit this Shortcut
NOW THE TRICK:
ObjectDocker was hard coded to run 32 bit programs so it will automatically turn the shortcut into
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\EXCEL.EXE
Click on the LINK area that shows the path to the file chosen and remove the “ (x86)” Remember to get rid of the space before the (
Click OK
You now have a shortcut to your 64 bit version of Excel 2013 on your main tool bar.
For multiple shortcuts in one drop down menu:
Right click on the very edge of an existing toolbar
Add >> Docklets >> Flyout Menu
Right click the new menu item and select “Doc Icon Properties”
Enter the title you wish in the space provided
Click on custom Menu button
Click on ADD >> New Shortcut
Click on Browse then navigate to the program or shortcut you want to use
For Office 365 and Office 2013 the shortcuts in the startup menu will work
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Office 2013
Double click on the shortcut and it will populate the other info including the icon.
