I do have a sig.bin in the Avast file but not in the CursorFX file. The Avast sig.bin I cannot delete.
There's your problem. Turn off Avast before you try to activate CFX. You may need to whitelist CFX in Avast if the AV continues to cause it problems. Avast used to be a good choice, but with all the additional software updating it now pushes on you, constant prompts to "Upgrade" and other errors it caused running DesktopX caused me to replace it .
