Good day people,
My problem: a black pixel in the middle of my desktop screen.
Analysis: I've a DELL U2410 monitor for years now with no problems. Having noticed a black pixel right in the middle of the screen over my background. I move my course and icons over this pixel and no reaction. I open up the web browser and the black pixel is stuck there ( over white website). However, when i open up paint program or full screen application, this dead pixel disappears!
I download one of those pixel fixer apps, did not see the dead pixel. I turn to windows theme options and disable transparency, aero mode and etc. still no effect. However after doing all these, my desktop's default solid BG color was changed to sky blue, which now in turn, changed the black dead pixel to the Sky blue dead pixel.
Okay, this is just weird. So i find any desktop altering apps on my comp and i nail it down to Fences2. I've uninstalled this app and this dead pixel has disappeared from the desktop. It's like a cross hair, absolutely piss off.
I don't think ill be install this app again anytime soon. I've used Fences 1 before and did not find these irritable problems. Scrolling in a fence is not possible any more as you would have to move the mouse over the scroll bar before you can. Plus the dead pixel. That's it! Im done.
Thank you for listening to my rant
