When adding new shortcuts to or editing old ones in a tabbed dock I face an irritating problem:

1. Folders as target are not accepted by the "Browse" function. I have to first select a file as target and then later edit the link to point at just the folder.

2. If the shortcut points at a folder it is impossible to change the icon displayed. I have to first change the link to point at a file, then change the icon and then change the link back to what it should be and finally correct the shortcut header that usually gets corrupted by the temporary file link.

All very messy and confusing until you find out how to do it, after that it is just a pain.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a built-in limitation in OD? (Or even a feature??!)
