Count me in. 

Since I use my current 'phone' (also a Lumia 920) to send email, read docs and do other things easily as much if not more than simply using the device to make/receive calls the bigger size etc. can only be a good thing.  

I have a Samsung Note 2 (5.5) and love it. It's great for emails, I used it to guide me home one time when I had to drive a rental that didn't have GPS when I had problems with my car while away from home. I don't buy books anymore since it's big enough to read on and the bonus is that I can instantly buy a new book when I finish what I'm reading. For handling, it's perfect size for my hands. I'll probably go with a bigger one when I'm ready for a new phone to make reading even better. As I have a desktop and laptop I didn't really want to spend money on a tablet or a reader, so a phablet is perfect for me.

My missus will...eventually.  She has poor eyesight...so something bigger than a Galaxy II will be on the horizon...

i messed around with one in the local at&t store today. i went in there to ask about the 2520. they have a couple (or more) in the back but couldn't allow me to see one yet   . anyway, the 1520 they have on display is yellow. unlike the yellow 920, the 1520 has a matte finish which i like better than the glossy. compared to my 920, the 1520 is HUGE and FAST. is it too big? nah, not really. it'll fit in my pocket easily. the most impressive things about it are the speed the qualcomm processor allows it and the display quality, in my opinion. will i get one? i don't know yet. i'll definitely get a 2520 tablet when they are released. i may then sell my surface pro. the only question i have regarding the 2520 is whether to get a wifi only version or to get one with wifi and lte. decisions, decisions.

I saw a tutorial somewhere on the internet (I think it may have been at wpcentral.com ) where you can DIY 'hack' the 1520 for WiFi charging without using/buying the cover.  I agree though the fact that it's built-into the 920 is great.

Same here... all my hesitation about which Windows tablet to purchase has been answered with the advent of the 2520.  While I like the Surface Pro I like the Nokia tablet even more.  Saw one recently at a local department store and was quite impressed.

hey starkers! i thoroughly enjoy my 2520. it isn't wifi only since those animals don't exist. i sold my surface pro to a guy my daughter works with. she works in the IT department for a local school corporation but i'm not sure if he does or is a teacher. anyway, the 2520 is a superb device. i use it 10 times as often as i do my ipad air. the pnly thing i don't like about it is the fact it has only 32 gigs of storage onboard. i know i increased that by buying a 64 gig sd card but it would've been nice if the darn thing had 64 to begin with. i should be getting my free 'power keyboard' from nokia sometime this month. that'll be like a late Christmas gift.

back to the 1520...... my ex's at&t contract expired a few days ago and she bought a new 1520 to replace her iphone. i was very surprised by that since she complains about having having to learn anything new regarding 'gadgets'. i had to show her how to customize the start screen and which settings she may want to change but she seems pretty happy with the device. i'm 'stuck' with my 920 until december 2014 but when i do get a new phone, i'll get a 1520 or a newer model of windows phone that has a large screen.

Big phones are great especially for an aging guy like me that has eyes like Mr. Magoo. That being said I probably won't be buying any until clothes manufactures begin making tablet pockets. They are just to hard to carry around in the line of work I do. 

I'll be able to upgrade my phone this year.  I'd get a 1520 definitely, but I'm sure we'll see some other good stuff this year too.

I went and looked at the 1520, and wow.  That screen is something else.  It is a big device, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

It's going to be hard not to get this.
