Just bought the 2.11 version of fences. Had been using the free version on win 8 but 8.1 broke it. I have stardock central installed and it shows fences 2.11 as available. When I check it and say install, it goes through the uac prompt, then shows an item in the system tray saying it's installing and "click here to view progress" but that message goes away before I can click it and even if I'm really fast and click it it still goes away and NOTHING HAPPENS!




I even tried doing this "run as administrator" and it still will not install. What the hell! Somebody tell me how to get this installed. Also I'm a programmer working on Win 7x64 pro machine with multiple virtual machines with Win xp-pro, vista and Win 8.1 in the virtual machines. I have been using the free version of fences until the 8.1 broke it. Can I install this purchased version on my other virtual machines?

 

This browser is Chrome and the only Stardock item in the downloads is the stardoc central setup program.
