1. Set a QuickLaunch dock to Show All Running Windows.
2. Set the dock position as Bottom Edge of Screen. 
3. Set the dock to Keep On Top.
4. Set the dock to Autohide for Maximized Application.
5. Make sure no applications are running, then launch one single app.
6. Maximize the app window.
7. Minimize the app window.

I expect to have the dock return to its normal, visible state with the minimized max app showing an icon and thumbnail at the right edge of the dock.  Instead, the dock remains hidden, with very poor animation performance.  The dock will not resume it's normal visibility and snappy performance until another app is opened to steal focus from the minimized max app.
