I have some folder portals that point to areas located on an encrypted drive. When someone logs in the drive is mounted, but Fences runs first. Because the target folders don't exist, it shows a blank folder, which makes plenty of sense.
I'm trying to devise my own solution to this but so far nothing I've tried is working. I can't get fences not to run when I startup the computer, so I can't delay it being run. I tried calling the fences.exe file with /disable and then /enable, but the folder portals just come back blank again.
I can't even manually Refresh the folder once the drive is mounted, it just remains blank.
At some seemingly random point after it's run for a bit, Fences 'figures out' the folder has files in it and shows them. I'm very suprised I can't even click the refresh button to make that happen immediately though.
Any way to, ideally programatically, tell fences to refresh, reinitialize, or shutdown entirely so I can start the process again?
