I have now installed Decor 8 on two different Windows 8 PC's, and even though when I run Decor 8 and it says it is v1.05, when I run Stardock Central it keeps saying that Decor 8 v1.05 upgrade is available, and my installed software list says I have v1.02 (beta) installed.
Tom, I think Stardock Cebtral is a pre beta program. I don't have it yet.

Thanks Wiz, actually I emailed support on it, and I don't even see a Stardock Central Support section in the forums anywhere. Matter of fact, I don't see a support category/area on any product anywhere in the forums other than those users happen to post. Is the a product support area even in the forums?

OK, thanks Wiz. You would think Stardock Support would be a main category and not a sub-category of OS Customization though. Oh well.

Although the Support team frequently hits the forums, there's lots of noise where things can be missed.

Nod, I have the exact same issue, Décor 8 says 1.05(no beta in there though) installed, Stardock Central says 1.02 beta installed, waiting to be installed is 1.05 beta of Décor 8.

One of the following files will resolve the issue (depending on your OS).
Download using IE and run as admin:
http://sd.stardock.com/ken/decor8ver.reg
http://sd.stardock.com/ken/decor8ver64.reg
If it doesn't resolve the issue let us know.
Thanks Zu, I got an email from support too with the same fix info. Have to wait until I get back home to run the .reg file though as I am up here in Michigan ( a few miles from Stardock) right now visiting family.

It worked great, once i figured out how to run it as admin. Managed to get IE10 in Windows 8 to run as admin and then just downloaded and ran immediately the reg file, it worked great. Stardock Central is happy now, with no more Decor 8 downloads popping up everyday.
