Hehe. Sorry for the inconvenience. But I must admit that I had fun with the situation.
Due to an unknown glitch in the IRC software some people were banned for no reason at all. We had this problem before and Kris needed to recreate the channel to solve it. He probably has a simple way of doing that, but this is my way...
To recreate the channel an IRC admin simply deletes it. But to do that it must be empty. That was another part of the fun. I had to mass de-op and mass ban everyone in the channel. Ed kept coming back and there was no way to ban him because he is an IRC admin too. So I closed his connection. Reticence also kept coming back. He has a nice script that avoids channel bans. So, I had to k-line him (ban from the server). Sorry, guys.
After that I just recreated the channel and we were in business again.
BTW: The #WinCustomize channel didn't have a problem. If you have SkinBrowser then you can connect to #WinCustomize by the click of a button. When one arrives there it is easy to join the #Stardock channel by giving the following command at the prompt: /join #Stardock
If you don't have SB then you can visit us by any other IRC client. The server is irc.stardock.com and is using port 6667.
Anyway, all is up and running again. Have fun.
