We live on the outskirts of a small city in Ontario Canada. The location is very rural, and is situated on The St. Lawrence River. However, we are only 30 minutes from the city, where we both work. The land is about 15 acres with about 1/4 mile of river frontage. We lucked out about 5 years ago when we found this place up for sale. We are pretty sure we've found our lifelong home.
My wife writes for a number of publications in the city. The newspaper, the main city magazine, and a few smaller publications. She also does freelance writing for publications in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Fortunately, because she is trilingual she can write in French as well as English. (Her third language is Hebrew, but she doesn't get a lot of call for that when writing.

) She also does 2 days a week as a radio jounalist on one of the local radio stations. (country music...oh well, it pays good.
