More bandwidth has arrived..

The site shoudl hopefully feel somewhat faster as we now have more bandwidth.

Slowness at this point would be related to CPU resources.

To me the pages load faster but the download...... well from 9 to 21 kbps on an ADSL 512 connection ain't exactly what I would call "fast" but hey... if there are like some 100-150 other users at the site at the same time......

Pages are much faster loading.
Downloads are around 375 Kilobytes/sec on a 3 megabit ADSL connection. Seems right to me.

Those with DSL connections and slow download speeds, have you tried tweaking? www.dslreports.com is a great place to start. Grab a copy of the free utility 'DRTCP.exe' and it will help you get the settings right.

Wow! im surprised to see how this site is much much faster now! Its awesome. Great Work! now i'll be able to download stuffs much more quickly!

also if you need a fast downloading program, use Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) it can increase your download speeds. I think its better then Getright

lol! what do u mean loads under a minute.. it loads under 10 sec!
Its even faster when i turn off my Firewall.. its protective but slows down the hole thing.. i can't even send e mails with taht thing on!!

Yes it is faster, even on my 56k modem. Not under 10 sec. thou, but faster.

56k modem?? aww u use modem? come on.. Use cable or dsl.. cuz i know how it feels when its soo slow on modem that u jus get frustrated.. i had modem about a month ago.. but now im fast cuz i have cable yay~

Well.. Mr. Wiseoldman i should say (according to the age) Try downloading DAP its good with modem too i believe heres the ling www.speedbit.com i hope it helps on your downloading
