what do you mean for docklets ?  the dockbackground or the icons or some proper docklet .dll ?

I think he may be referring to the systray, and yes, 16x16 icons blown up to 32x32 or larger don't look so hot. All that can be done is to replace them with better icons in a larger size.

I was able to recreate the issue enabling the ghost-mode feature (Home > Effect > Animation > click on Zoom)

control if you have the "Enable ghost-mode" checked and naturally unchek it

you can also edit the zoom quality and try different settings

if nothing good happened try to click on the "None" Animations and tell me if the issue is still present

try to change the transparency in "Settings" > Home > Style/Color: More Options:  "Edit icon transparency" all the way to opaque

also try to use a different OD background and let me know !
