Now I use a folder portal to store shortcuts to web pages. The reason is I moderate the chat room on Eggxpert.com, Neweggs chat room. I have shortcuts to pages that will provide information people need. Since there is a great deal of discussion about building computers I have shortcuts to parts listed on Newegg.

I created a folder on one of my drives and store those shortcuts in there. Now if I drag a shortcut from the address bar to the portal it breaks my nice list view. It pushes the columns out really far. I have the fence sized pretty big so there is plenty of room. I do know that the shortcut descriptions are pretty big so that may be an contributing factor of breaking list view. So what I need to do is click on View then list again to bring it all in line. I usually go ahead and edit the shortcut description to make if fit but it doesn't auto adjust the fence to look nice. Still alot of spaces between the columns and a scroll bar gets added.
