Fuzzy: I recently installed a new hard drive, but my mobo wouldn't recognize the large size. I was told that I needed to flash my BIOS, so I read everything I could about doing it, but then I found something called
"Drive Overlay Software", which just tells the BIOS what it wants to hear, and gets on with the job of loading the larger disk at boot up.
Have you heard of this? I am no expert, but I thought it was preferable to flashing! Is there any downside to it?
