Problem with "Desktop pages" and "Align icons to grid"

I'm using Fences with OS Windows 8. If you will use "screen-sharing", you have to activate "Align icons to grid". Only then the icons move to side.

But when you also activate "Desktop pages", you can not place the icons near to the taskbar. The icons will be jumping one position up.
